Love Desire Attachment

If we wish to enjoy good relationships, it is essential that we learn to distinguish between love and attachment. While love brings only happiness, attachment brings problems such as craving and conflict. During this day course we will learn to distinguish between these minds enabling us to increase our love for others while at the same time reducing our attachment. Vegetarian lunch is included. $50 ($40 concession)

Learn to Meditate

The purpose of mediation is to make our mind calm and peaceful. If our mind is peaceful we shall be free form worries and mental discomfort, and experience full happiness. In this meditation day course Mick will explain the benefits of mediation, how to meditate and how to use meditation to improve our daily life. Vegetarian lunch and refreshments will be provided for the Salamander day course, light refreshments will be provided for the Woy Woy half day course.

The Teacher
Mick Marcon

Mick Marcon is the Resident Teacher at Losang Dragpa Kadampa Buddhist Centre in Newcastle. With his clear understanding of Buddha's teachings and down-to-earth manner, he inspires us to develop a peaceful mind, thereby uncovering for ourself a deep contentment and happiness. Mick teaches the weekly drop-in classes as well as the Foundation Program.
